building a new system with high performance gaming in mind. I'm tired of reading system requirments before buying games.
so far I've decided on... Intel Q6600 quad core processor (which I want to over-clock to 3.0 GHz) evga Geforce 8800Gts 4GB of 1066Mhz ddr2 ram ------------------------------------------------------------------------- my price range is $175-$250 any advice or help would be appreciated. thank you. |

Do you want a choice for SLI? The 680i boards that support the 1333 Fsb would be a great choice, also if your getting 4gb of ram remember you need a 64bit OS.
If no SLI the Gigabyte P-35 DS3L, DS3R are nice too.

looking for 680(i)sli mobo or any high performance mobo that lets me run sli memory/1066 and a future paired video card.
I also don' want to worry about voltage issues when I over clock CPU, Memory, or video card. I kinda' like the P5N32-E by ASUS--- which mobos out there out perform it? |

I'm running the Asus P5N32E-sli and have had no problems. It's a good stable board just make sure if you choose it to update the bios and to set your memory voltages and timings manualy according to specs. I ruuning the E6850 at the moment and waiting for the new Intel quads to come out.
