Default I'm not a Mac-er...

Here's the question:
can I dump the mac software from the iMac and install XP or Vista on this so-called new Intel iMac systems and have it run as good as my PC's. PC's are all custom built with a workstation MB.
The Boot camp thing may work but I have no use for mac software and will never use it. I've tried for 6 months and this thing has used up my last nerve.
Please, don't give me that mac pc stuff I'm way past that crap. I think the hardware is fine or I'll find out soon but the software for my needs SUCK Big time.
I got this for my wife and after a month of you need this or can't do that she gave it back to me (I lost some points there)

Hello RON L, welcome to the forums and make sure to read the forums rules properly.
As for your question ,i find it a bit confusing..do you want to install Vista or XP, alongside Mac ? or totally remove Mac and make way for MS ?
i
yeah bootcamp will do the trick but ive never used it, but you can try and see if it can wipe the whole OSX installation, or boot from the TIGER disc and format the drive (at least this can be done)..lol

edit : mac is better than PC...oops i said it, sorry..lol

I believe he is trying to wipe tiger and simply run windows on a mac (without the mac).
I also believe he is trying to avoid boot camp and he wants to boot directly into windows.

Just trying to clear things up...

Im not sure if this is possible...didnt find anything on an extremely brief search.
I dont have experience wit hintel macs though
Only PPC

EDIT: Maybe you could return it...or sell it. PCs are generally cheaper to build than to buy a mac.

Yes I want to completely do away with all of the mac software and the OS Tiger.
I'll give it a try and if it melts down; O'well
