Default MS Visual C++ Runtime Error

I'm having this problem that is particularly frustrating. The virtual memory on my computer is not set correctly, so I wish to change it. However, whenever I click that "Change" button under Virtual Memory, I get the error:

Runtime Error!
Program: C:\WINDOWS\system32\mmc.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

Any help would be great. Thanks!

I don't know what's causing the error, it could be way too many things. You don't need to use computer management to change your virtual memory though. Try using system properties (properties of my computer) then on the advanced tab click settings then under virtual memory click change.
