converting a song into karaoke

What program will allow me to make a karaoke/instrumental song out of an original vocal song. I tried a couple programs and they were horrible!

There's no way to do this. It's the same as we'll say trying to remove say a character from a video. There are work arounds, but nothing perfect. What you found is probably as good as you're going to get. Unless there is an actual instrumental version of the song...
