Question CPU Fan

See specs for MOBO and CPU cooler...

Does your CPU fan start up as soon as the PC is turned on, because mine doesn't untill it starts to boot Windows, I also feel it could be running faster than it is...

Anybody else witht he 965P have anything like this, what settings do you have in the BIOS?

If you dont find the option in the BIOS, plug the fan into anotehr fan header on your motherboard, but not the motherboard one, then it should start up nicely!

It's a 4 pin plug, The only one I have on the MOBO, it's plugged into, I think...

I have seen were some just have a delay before power gets to the fan... sounds normal to me, does it start if you go into bios?

You can still plug it into a 3 pin header on the mobo if you dont find a solution and it will work

Some say the 4th pin is for speed control. Some people had probs with it when plugged only in 3 pins, the fans ran at half speed or so.
