how to block access to some sites?

hi guys is there's a way to block the access to some sites like adult sites ? i'm running windows xp thanks in advance!!!!!

or type in something like "internet parental block" into google

Have you tried Internet Options under Tools and set the "Content" tab. It's basic but there are programes out there if needed.
