abit ic7max smart fan

i have abit ic7 max3 motherboard and i wanna know if its ok to disable smart fan coz it makes noise? what it is actually there for?

SmartFan is there to reduce average noise. Disabling it will have it run full speed

I've got the IC7 Max 3 also, which fan are is the one making the noise? (if you can tell)

P.S. Prae is right about the smartfan, leave that on.
