Question Computer Help

Every time I turn on the computer it takes about 5min trying to read the cd drive, then the screen will start up. But the mouse and keyboard don't work the first time so you turn it off and if you turn it on quickly just after its switched off it starts up normally. I went to the bios and changed the start up to hard drive and it works starting up for a few hours but the next day its back to how it was.

Any ideas or help would be highly appreciated.

Sounds like your CMOS battery is dead. It keeps the Bio's settings constant. If the battery dies then your bio's re set's to it's original settings.

Just pop out your battery and replace it with the same type.
