Default quick look what do you think for $120

i dont really need a psu but it comes wth one. is that psu any good what do you guys think about the case for $120 supposedly brand new.

i asked yesterdayy about cpu cooler opinions turns out none will fit given the mid tower case i have has a crappy psu location so basically nothing will fit.

Thanks

We would need to know what the model of the case and/or PSU is for us to tell you if it's good or not...

Look for a case that does not come with a psu? There are plenty. I'm kind of confused about what your actual concern other than fitting an aftermarket cpu cooler. Are you looking for a new case, cooler, or psu? Could you please clarify?

well i bought a new cpu its a sl7b8 3.2ghz . problem is my power supply and my existing case. this cpu needs a monstrous cooler.
turns out the way my case is the psu is vertical and hangs over the cpu so instead of having from the socket up about 5 " to the other side of the case the pse is in the way so ts about 2 1/2 inches clearance unti the power supply.

i was gonna give up because a quick and easy thng just turned into a mess 80 for the cpu now i need a good cooler approx $40-50 now a nice case too ts all adding up.

Hipro is ok, but don't get it on SLi.... Should be fine... Get an E2140, less $$$, more power.

that case is what it is its a local thing guy wants 120 i dont even know if thats a deal or a ripoff havent seen any for sale anywhere.

I have a socket 478 so i dont think i have many options with a different processor . still not sure what to do. i mean i dont have a rocketship here. with a case cooler and this cpu id be around $200.00 not thinking its worth it considering the rest of the system isnt so great.

It doesn't have bad amps, but not sure about the build/efficiency of it ( 50 amps on the 12 rails )

You guys think its worth $120.00 I cant seem to find any online so i can price it. Im pretty sure im gonna give up on using the newer cpu and ill just stick with the 2.6 i had and save some future hassles and cash. Let me know what you think Thanks everyone

For $120 its a ok deal, alien ware are very high computers, their cases are very well online.
check new egg for $120 you can get a pretty bad ass case/power supply
you also take the risk of some of the connectors for the case not being generic such as the front usb connectors, which could jeopardize you being able to use some of the cases features.
