Default Sell my PS2?

I have a PS2 that I hardly use anymore. I'm not an extreme gamer, But I do like having a game console around just for some fun. I'm thinking of selling my PS2 for a Game Cube. First Off, Do you think I should go through with it. Second, If I do sell it, How much should I sell it for? It is the older thicker model.

Your not going to get enough to mess with it, $25 max if you were to take it to gamestop or a pawn shop, and maybe $40 if you sold it yourself

you'd be better keeping the ps2, even better is it was modded, if you still want to sell it go ahead but i agree with thatguy, you'll have a hard time finding someone offering higher than 25$ (unless it's one of those slims, then maybe 50$)

IDK, theres been a few ps2s on craigslist in my area. they go for like 80+ if they have games.

Id recomend (if possible) throwing in a little more money and getting a wii. Or sell ps2 now then wait for wii price to come down...

I also see PS2's being sold in my area for around $80. With Games. And, I think those are the thick one's. I'm going to research it a little more.
