Will this system be able to max out sims 2 ? is this computer a good price for its hardware or should i wait until next month when things might get cheaper?

You should build your own.

All pre built machines suck, IMO. Why?
  • You can buy better components at a cheaper price when you build your own PC.
  • It's difficult to change hardware in an OEM machine. Especially PSU's and mainboards.

Did you configure the Dell PC using the configuration tools on the Dell website?

There are a couple acronyms for dell:

Doesn't
Ever
Last
Long

and...

Don't
Expect
Long
Life

Other than that, there is so much more you can do with a custom built computer than with a OEM.

You can also get computers from companies like Mesh Computers who use Asus motherboards, are unrestricted and come with little bloatware! We've had 2 and they're fantastic.
