All pre built machines suck, IMO. Why?

You can buy better components at a cheaper price when you build your own PC.
It's difficult to change hardware in an OEM machine. Especially PSU's and mainboards.

Did you configure the Dell PC using the configuration tools on the Dell website?

Other than that, there is so much more you can do with a custom built computer than with a OEM.

You can also get computers from companies like Mesh Computers who use Asus motherboards, are unrestricted and come with little bloatware! We've had 2 and they're fantastic.
