Default Scanner Problem

Hi,

scanner - Canosan FB620U USB.

I try to Scan then Some error message display. Can not scan the documents.

The error message are given below.

Unlock the lock switch and turn the scanner on again.

Could not open the Twain source. Make sure there is a valid source for your scanner is the twain directry found in the windows directry.

And some time Canot communicate with scanner. Sanner may be off or offline or cable may be dis connected. Check statues. Scanner driver will be close.

I try to uninstalled the scanner driver and install again. Operating system is windows 2000 server.

Scanner adapter working fine.

Did you unlock the scanner bed lock?

I had scanner problems and found out it was a faulty USB cable. Have you tried using a different cable connecting the scanner to the PC.

you should check the lock of ur scanner. look at the bottom of the scanner, u may find a switch, make sure it is unlocked.
