Default How do i overclock my E4400?

I've got a Core 2 Duo E4400 @ stock 2.0Ghz and i wan't to get it a bit higher, core temps are 33-35*C idle and 42-44*C at max on full load.

My motherboard is an ASUS P5S-MX SE, not a great motherboard for overclocking i know, but i can do atleast some.

I have only 1GB of 667MHz RAM as one of the sticks was faulty from day one

Here are the questions:
1) What do i need to make higher and make lower in the BIOS to overclock correctly? I am completely new to overclocking CPUs and don't want it to go wrong..

2) How much should i increase it by each time and what should i increase?

3) What temperature is the max i should get it to on full load?

overclock the FSB it'll go up by your cpu's multiplier.

edit: make sure you have the proper cooling to handle the overclock.

Id say increase the FSB by 5 - 10 MHz at a time, which means you would gain an extra 100 MHz to your cpu's speed if your multiplier was 10 and you increased the FSB by 10 MHz for example.

If you stay within 60 C you will be fine .

If its greyed out them most probably your mothebroard manufacture doesnt want you to over clock, my old ASUS did that Or there may be an option to enable tweaks, search for it
