When trying to check my Gmail, I get:

______________________________________________
This Connection is Untrusted

You have asked Firefox to connect
securely to www.google.com, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure.

Normally, when you try to connect securely,
sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are
going to the right place. However, this site's identity can't be verified.

What Should I Do?

If you usually connect to
this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is
trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn't continue.

Technical Details

www.google.com uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is not trusted because it is self-signed.
The certificate is only valid for google.com
(Error code: sec_error_untrusted_issuer)

I Understand the Risks

If you understand what's going on, you
can tell Firefox to start trusting this site's identification.
Even if you trust the site, this error could mean that someone is
tampering with your connection.

Don't add an exception unless
you know there's a good reason why this site doesn't use trusted identification.
______________________________________________

And it's NOT because of my system time, which is set perfectly accurately. (the usual cause of the problem when Googling this issue)

EDIT: And when I search by Google, it thinks I'm in the Netherlands. But my IP hasn't changed, according to www.whatismyip.com

It's a problem many men have to deal with... But downloads finishing too early? Help!

Half the time I try to download something through Firefox 2 or Internet Explorer 6, the download will get to a random percentage complete, and then complete itself. Say, if it is a 10mb file, it might download 1.5mb, and then say it's "complete". If you try to run the file you download, you obviously get a corrupted file message blah blah blah.
I've just tried downloading Online Armor Free 5 times, and each time it has completed too early. I don't think it's the site I'm downloading from (download.com), since I've received this problem in the past on other websites.
I'm on dial up (56.6k), and it's quite a pain to have to download the same program 5 times. I received this problem on my old modem, and the internet hasn't been cutting out, so I've pretty much ruled out a modem issue (other than the fact 56.6k sucks).

Any help fixing this issue would be appreciated.

Hey.

So I've pretty much thrown myself into a web design project without any prior html experience. These are the main two problems I've been unable to find a solution to, and any help would be much appreciated.

1) http://imgur.com/ZdOPa.jpg

So I need a header that will center itself in the middle of the page, and stay there if the page is re-sized. Relative positioning seems to do the trick, however, it always moves to the bottom, and I have to move it by -700 to get it into the right position. The problem is that there is a bunch of space at the bottom because the div itself didn't move. It's been a huge pain trying to get stuff to go where I want. Am I going about this the wrong way?

2) http://imgur.com/PKdHf.png

I need to get rid of that purple border. I've tried changing border, outline, etc, but it stays there. Suggestions?

Thanks.
