I've only lived in one other country in my life, it was germany. I really liked it, but I would still say the USA is a better country to grow up in. In Germany their is not an "american dream" when anyone can get ahead with hardwork, but then again Germany is a safer more beautiful country.

America also has great vacation spots, thats why many americans dont have passports... but we do have shit food, and we are fatasses

I had two level 80's both geared to the teeth.

I am a thinker. I had a funny relationship with WoW. I don't think I was addicted, I never blew people off for it or the likes, however after a hard day of exams and/or work I really enjoyed sitting down, listening to music and playing for a little while. I found it so comforting.

The reason for this post is not to complain about Blizzard, abusive online peers or how epic my alternate, axe wielding life was but to here your oppinion(s) on a few things. I'm really just thinking out loud - but hey it's the offtopic section of CF so I thought i'd broadcast my mind:

To ease the discomfort of having my humble account being vapourised, I visited www.wowdetox.com. It's an excellent site even if you've never played WoW. It makes you think. Now my problem begins with wowdetox ironically. A fair majority of 'now liberated people' have miracullously transformed themselves from overweight, WoW dependant, socially crippled, sleep deprived oafs to healthy fit people who love life and have a beautiful and supportive girlfriend. I love the ones who now go to gym and earn fortunes from their new grand jobs. It's like reading a copy of 'Women's Day' or something. Jesus. How do they go from this to that. HOW?

I have these things, im healthy and fit I have a lovely girlfriend but its not like this. This is crap.

Im not by any means a socially crippled, feverish abomonation that is the portrait of a online gamer. I am tall and healthy, people comment me often and I have a beautiful girlfriend, good marks at school and recently came into the unexpected fortune of being granted my own car! Please don't take me wrong and lable me ungrateful - I truly am thankful for each day. However something is missing. I don't feel 'the wind in my hair' and see 'each day as a gift'. I don't go to the beach and frolick around with beautiful girls my age or play rough sports or go out and party and become 'richer for the experience' and the truth is - I don't feel a need to. People more than often annoy me and I'd prefer to just go my own way, concentrate on my current Tom Clancy novel, my car or cooking something. I get pleasure out of these strange things (reading, cooking, car) instead of the typical things a teenager should like. People have said that im older for my age but nonetheless something is missing.

How do you enjoy life? I want -need to hear the little silly things to the proud achievements you wish to share.

I don't feel the 'love of life' or excitement of waking up each day. It's mostly a big fat 'meh' and I keep going. God help me if something bad actually happened.
