I've recently been saving up money to build a beast of a PC, at first it was about gaming, but now after some time I made the decision that when I get it im going to begin youtube as well as high quality streaming. But obviously PC gaming will be in there. Im not just planning on playing the easy games like CSGO, but the bew triple AAA titles like F4 or GTA 5 and a bunch more. But aswell as that im planning on getting into Photoshop (which i have already started) and also After Effects editing which I know requires a fair bit of rendering power once you begin to get into really high quality work.

Below is the link to the PC im planning on building, if you think its overkill PLEASE be honest and let me know, and if you think thier are either cheaper and also suit my beeds builds then let me know.

Note: The reason I didnt inculde a fan is he because the fan im planning on getting is not currently released and will be released and will be released some time in august (Cryorig H5 Ultimate)

Note 2: If you think going with liquid cooling is a good idea please advise because I have been considering it but im just afriad it will leak lmao

Why the Cryorig H5? The Noctua D15 is definitely a better air cooler.

If you go liquid cooling, there's 2 directions you can consider. You can either go with an AIO cooler (maintenance free), or a custom loop. Custom loops are good but they cost a lot of money. AIO's can range from $60-250 depending on the model. Something like a Corsair H80i GT or a H100i should be sufficient.

Honestly, a good AIO cooler from Corsair like @Intel_man mentioned will be sufficient.

Custom loops are really for enthusiasts or kids with bottomless parental bankroll...

Lmao, Cheers guys for the help, ill also look into getting a liquid cooled system like you recommended, other than that is there anything else you think that needs changing?

Apart from it being like almost $80 more expensive than the Ripjaws equivalent... It's got slightly higher cas timing (lower is better), but in a day to day situation, it is absolutely unnoticeable.

1080's probably not an overkill if you do 4k gaming. 1070 would be great for 1440p gaming.

Any of those AIO (all in one) liquid coolers are hassle free and maintenance free. It's pretty easy to install being that it is very similar to an air cooler installation with the exception of having to mount a radiator somewhere.

Would this by chance be a better choice than the Ripjaws?

And also is the 1080 overkill and would the better choice be the 1070. I am planning on doing some pretty high graphic gaming though.

And the last thing if im planning on doing a fairbit of overclocking is it gonna be much easier with just a watercooler like you suggested?

I'm not gonna lie, the 1080 is friggin amazing. Had mine almost a month now, and i know @Intel_man is loving his.. whether it's overkill - depends on your situation I suppose, it wasn't for me

Cheers guys for the advice, also as a quick last question should I just go with a mid tower for the price or is it better choice to go with a full tower, im going with water cooling btw guys so cheers for that heads up.

I've been rocking mid towers for the last 3-4 builds, and just today actually I was discussing with another member about switching out my current rig into a full-tower.

Depends on your needs, in my case I've outgrown the mid tower and its getting to hot inside!
