$500 budget

i have a $500 dolar budget. i want to build a decent computer to play games such at CS:S, Half-Life 2, and bf2142; chat; and surf the internet.

ya i need everything with it, os monitor etc.

I have a couple crt monitors i could use. so i have those. and i could use a linux os, so that would take cost down? oh, i have a keyboard mouse and speakers to.

so would ubuntu play those games?
does it work with steam?

Try unzipping it.

Or you may need to use a program called WinRar.

You want to get an icon that has a Disk, and is in the .ISO format.

I built the PC in my sig from newegg for a total of $400.00 (minus video card & monitor) and I am very happy with it. You could get more OC if you wanted but 2.4 was all I needed. I really like the E2160 and MSI mobo combo I have which is very similar to what you wanted. Good luck with your build!
