Well, I imagine it came in a while ago, but my dad went out of town for like 2 weeks around when it should have arrived and took the mailbox key with him. x____x
I have a 3G but looking to buy someone's 4G when they upgrade to a 4GS because i don't want a contract, nor will I switch to AT&T. Been busy with work, going to a national user conference next week and I am giving a 40 minute keynote and sitting on two other panels. Should be fun.
Been too busy to delve too indepth to Perkins, but I've looked at reviews and such of his books and he seems interesting. I've got Confessions on my birthday wishlist.
Stupid internet went out for 2 days, felt bad man.
Haven't had a chance to read it yet, but I've seen a few reviews for it and it looks like a good read.
I wouldn't even give him credit for that. It's not as if he's founded Foxconn or set out to help anyone, which imo he hasn't. Even without Apple Foxconn is a massive company that had plenty of business. Maybe burning in hell was a bit over the top, but it was annoying seeing so many people freak out over his death. Stupid friends of mine literally crying over it. /rolleyes
I don't care if it's China, doesn't change the fact that it's unethical. If it happened here there would be a media shitstorm and people would be up in arms, but somehow since they're 3000 miles away no one gives a shit. Kinda like these wall street protest morons who are bitching about the 1% in America yet they're the 1% of the world.
And I'm aware it's not illegal, but it is unethical. Frankly I wouldn't mind if Foxconn wasn't essentially enslaving their workers by paying them so little they have to live in dorms in the companies own city while forcing them to sign anti-suicide pledges, listen to Foxconn radio, and watch Foxconn tv. Not much different than what coal mining companies used to do to their workers.
