Instead of cluttering the thread, decided to reply here. The reason that WEP is easily crackable, is something to do with the algorithm involved. I ran WPA2-PSK when i had wifi, but after running a few hundred feet of cat5 im running wired only. Read up on WEP here:

Do you know whether airport security can ruin my external hardrives i have western digital harddrives my book ? I know this is a frequently asked question bt every1 replies it with didnt happen to me so what do you think i have 7 1tb harddrives which i will be taking with me
