Own a Landscaping company. The computer thing started around 1994. I was a Stereo freak back then, computers didnt do anything at the time that interested me. One of my buddies was into them bigtime and keep bugging me about it.

Shows up at my house one day (just bought his self a new computer) and gives me his old one. Well he knew what he was doing because after I had one I could not leave the damn thing alone lol. And it kinda just went from there. Started building our own, then friend/family members. Next thing we knew we had a small side busines going on. After Windows 95 came out computers just took off mainstream.

I gave him a small loan a few years ago and he moved into his own shop. I do all his new builds for him and he does repairs software/hardware. Plus I have my own thing on the side. Mostly just about 15 years working at it.

Yeah, I was surprised at all the names I actually remember. I've been looking at the members list looking for some people I used to be friends with but can not quite remember their names, only their avatars (which could have been changed anyway). Yeah, 'History of CF, Part 1'. Maybe get a Mel Brooks look-a-like to play the lead characters.

Yeah, there was a time when it was just ian, Praetor and I. And I think ZER0X and Buzz1927 (and a few others I do not even remember) were the only moderators. [tab] has always been an admin but he was around more for the behind-the-scenes stuff or when ian went on vacation.

It has been awhile. I created a sticky thread in Off Topic forum to celebrate my return (until apj un-stickies it).
