It was super sketchy! Didn't feel safe at all, was good fun though. I'm sure you could get a lot faster!

That sounds like great fun! I bet they had awesome beer in Germany. Well, I recommend Liverpool

42mph is fast! I've only hit 30mph so far because I haven't hit any long downhill stretches yet.

I was in France, Germany and Switzerland, but haven't been to the UK yet.

Yeah, I had 2.5" super tacky dual ply DH tyres and fully loaded panniers, so it was pretty tough. The biggest days for us were 55miles, but it was up and down so much, we climbed the highest road in the UK, 1903ft. Which was so worth it, we hit 42Mph coming down.

I think next year me and some friends are going to France to spend a week at one of the bike parks, Les Gets maybe. Sweet! Where in Europe where you? You've not been to the UK hVe you? If you ever are, you'll have to let me know!

Going cross country on a mountain bike would be 1,000x harder than on a road bike. LOL. but yeah I was planning on going on a 120 mile bike ride a few weeks ago, but had other things going on. I'm usually just going on 50 mile bike rides on the weekends instead.

Haha, I was in Europe for a week and a half last year and didn't want to go home at all! but VA doesn't really have that much there. You'll have to go to LA or NYC.

Glad to hear it! You should give it a go, see how you like it! I think you'd enjoy it.

Sure did, a few weeks back. Was pretty tough going, glad I did it though. You'd probably find it easy with the distance riding you do. You were planning a road trip, right?

Virginia isn't bad, but I'm about ready to go home already.

Hmmm. I mainly just use it for the Internet and Music now, don't play any games on it these days.

    How's riding going?
