I've been working on sweep picking as well. I've been playing about 3-4 years now. Although, just starting to get in touch with my metal side. I need to justify having a metal guitar.

I remember trying to memorize scales... pain the ass! I just memorized the minor scale because it's easy to go to pentatonic minor and blues minor from there.

It's going not too bad, I'm working on my sweep picking (or lack thereof) right now. Also trying to just memorize different scales and what not. I've only been at it for about 10 months give or take, so yea I sorta suck, ha.

Yeah, they played it at Royal Albert Hall in 2008. Some fans made a full length dvd of the gig. Muse riffs and jams that's a list of all of the random jams Muse have done at gigs with clips of each. It's a long list...
