Actually the package advertises the "s-step", which corresponds to the stepping (is a stepping actually). I explained it and proffered a pic right here.

haha. you have to run cpu-z. the packaging doesn't advertise the stepping. some websites advertise the G0 as guaranteed, however. i'm guessing all the new retail procs are G0, so i wouldn't worry about it too much. try to find a site that guarantees it though.
