If you're looking for something that inexpensive you could always look around for a low priced E510/E520... Olympus kit lenses are supposed to be the best ever made, and while it's only got 3-point AF it has quite a few other features that make up for it. Definitely worth looking into.

It's got pretty limited features and to me feels cheep and uncomfortable. It's not a BAD camera, in fact it's a decent camera, but you could get something so much better for around the same price (K200D!)

It's got 3-point AF, no in-body AF motor, no in-body VR, ya know.

The K200D has 11-point AF, in body AF motor and IS, top LCD, 60 weather seals, all in all a much better camera.

If you're considering the D60 you'll also want to consider the Canon XS as they are both comparable, but technically the XS is "better". I personally prefer Canon cameras over Nikon cameras... they feel better and the controls are generally better.

Anyway, I've gotta go eat right now, if want to talk some more about it just add me on AIM, my username there is the same as here.

lol Good thing there isn't otherwise prices would be ridiculous... (it's called a monopoly)

I may just have to wait a while and get the 50D, it's the only camera I've tried that I like everything about. I say "may"... I probably won't, but I might...

    But don't get the D60!

Look at the Olympus bodies though... talk about short. But yeah, the K-7 is one heck of a camera, it might actually compete with Canon and Nikon.

Oh, and btw, the Canon 1Ds Mk3 seems the perfect camera too, it has everything I want and more. Too bad it's too expensive. I'll get it someday.

Yup, I'm currently debating between the the K10D and K200D. Tough decision.
