Bah, where I'm from, Parksville, It's a just a small town. No wal-mart or any big chain stores. Just The Source (AKA Radio Shack)

Yeah, pretty much. My neighborhood is quaint, but walk two blocks in one direction and bam, circuit city, staples, radio shack etc.
