A lot of programming basics can be learned from shell, python, perl, etc. That link I posted on that thread for comparisons is used in many programming languages so learning the basics of one would help you in a lot of them. That is how I taught myself pretty much. I started off doing, echo "hello world" and went from there. The thing is you gotta have patience and stick with it because it is something that takes a while to learn. Go here http://tldp.org/LDP/abs/html/ and then go through some of those tutorials. You can use a lot of that in many different run time environments.

I guess it has different parts to it then. I know for sure VoIP is one of the factors of business virtualization. So is virtual machines and what not. Yea you're right. BAsically like virtualizing the entire infrastructure. Thanks man.

Oh that's it? I thought it was net conferencing or some other hitech whatevers. Like in movies with conferencing on huge plasmas and what not. Like making communication easier within a business.

it is a virtual machine, meaning you are running an operating system with in an operating system and the virtual machine thinks it is running on it's own hardware by itself because the VM software will create a virtual layer of hardware between that OS and your actual hardware.

Hey, I went to a business pc expo (hosted by PCmall and HP) and there was a lot of booths set up regarding business virtualization. Can you explain to me what that means? In layman's terms? Thanks alot!

I don't know but they are always making examples out of people, so I would say there is a chance and it just depends on lots of different factors. If you are paranoid start researching your ISP and see if they work with the MPAA or RIAA on anti piracy.

Hey dude, you seem knowledgeable about this, what are the rough chances that someone would get caught downloading music/movies/games? You know just wondering...curiosity....

You know how you keep mentioning the SDK for left 4 dead? Will people be able to create whole new movies (with like 5 chapters in each one)? There's that website already, l4dmaps.com or something along those lines, but they don't have full on campaigns. Meh, just curious. That game is really great, especially on expert. Have you done the akimbo achievement yet? =)
