Yes, you could, but you would have to switch the receiver's input to the iPod connector. This would kill your XBox's sound coming from the receiver though. You would still be able to see the video fine.

My receiver came with an iPod dock, and has an iPod playback setting. I was wondering if I can play music off my iPod while I'm using the Xbox.
