Bluetooth/WiFi pci card

I recently purchased a Syba pci card (SY-PEX23063) and installed it on my computer (msi H55M-E23) running Win 7. I installed the drivers that came on the disc but I cannot find the device in DM under anything (network adapters, unknown, even hidden files). I went back and forth with Syba tech support and they just quit responding. As a side note there is an icon in my toolbar that when I hover it reads, IEEE802.11 WLAN Not exist. Any help is truly appreciated.

Interesting it doesn't show up under Device Manager, I take it you checked some of the more awkward categories too? Do you see anything under Control Panel -> Network and Sharing Center -> Change Adapter Settings? If you click the network icon from Windows in the systray do you have any SSIDs populated?

What wireless router are you trying to tie it into?

Hi Beers,

Under change adapter settings (had not looked there previously) it only shows the local area network connection. The network icon only shows the network I am currently connected to.

The wireless router I have is the Verizon Gateway Router but; having Bluetooth is the main thing that I am after. Although, I would like to wifi because what I bought has it and it ought to work... lol.
