So i just formatted my computer, and my disk seems to be fuller than what i had it before the format? http://imgur.com/PrWo3kp
I went to Windows 10 Definitions, then to Recovery, then "Reset this PC", then "Remove everything".How did you supposedly format this disk? I'm thinking you did something else. Maybe reinstalled windows?
I have no files in there from before the format. and before i had like 500 free gbs. It can't possibly add 400Thats basically reinstalling windows to out of box when you first got it. But from the image you posted, I don't think it actually did it. Windows itself shouldn't be over 30gb after a fresh install. If there was an option to keep existing files in tact then thats probably what you did.
Yeh, i also noticed i have a file named "Temp_SafeToDeleteRefreshFile_Attempt0__File0" that 794 Gb, is it safe to delete both windows.old and this file?Check your c drive for a folder labeled windows.old If so, it placed all your old data in that folder. Hence the reason why you have less space available now then you did before.
