My Blue Screen Viewer won't work

HI there. I have BSV on my computer. It has worked successfully before (3 months ago) but now when I open it to see a DMP file, there is nothing there (no dump data in the Viewer). There is a dmp file in the Mini Dump in C:/Windows/Minidump, which is the one I want to view after my computer crashed.

But running BSV does not bring it up. Am I doing anything wrong here?

Thanks

What is the date of the dump file? This happens sometimes for some reason. Does it say memory.dmp or something else?

No, it's the normal DMP file, the name is mini040715-01. And was created when my computer crashed on that date, 4th Jul 2015. Just not sure why the BSV won't load it.

thanks

If you can zip up the file and attach it to your next reply I can look at it that way.

No I don't have that particular program installed however it is interesting because I do have three other programs from NCH software (Debut, VideoPad and Prism). I'm sure Debut which is capture software would run this or a similar driver for the sound capture component. My computer often crashes when playing back videos. However my computer has occasionally crashed when streaming YT videos. I don't think I could delete an NCH sound driver and still have a working version of the software. Is it possible for me to locate the sound drivers relating to the NCH software? What extensions do sound drivers usually have?

Thanks for locating the probable cause.

The name of the file was stdriver32.sys. It comes from nch software. Now it could just be a corrupted driver, maybe a reinstall would fix it.
