Are you specifically married to purchasing from CyberpowerPC?
no sir they were just the first site i found when i set out to find a great gaming pc. but heres what i HAVE to have in the pc:
RAM 8-32 doesnt really matter as long as i can add when im ready
DRIVE 500-1 TB
processor 3.5-anything over without it being overclocked
it would be AWESOME to have water cooling but if you know one that meats all the other needs and doesnt have water cooling its ok

How big of a city do you live in? Most likely if you search for computer repair stores in your city, assuming it isn't tiny you should have several, and most of them will offer custom builds in addition to repairs. You could talk to them and probably get a similar build for a similar price compared to CyberpowerPc, iBuypower, etc. I've bought two computers from Cyberpower in the past and they're good computers mostly, but if anything goes wrong, it can take a long time to get it resolved and fixed. If you go local, you can get way faster service.

You can always go to a site like PCpartpicker and look at people's different builds. They come with real time prices for every part and have a compatibility checker so you know everything will work together and you'll know whether or not you're under $1,000. You could take that to a local builder and probably get a good deal on having it put together.

I would do something like a part picker or go to see custom builds but i have no idea what most of the parts do :( i just know that you need a computer with a good graphics card and ram in order to play games uninterupted but other than that i have no idea what would be good to add. That is why i came to this site because i needed people who actually knew what the words meant and what the parts did. But if youve checked out the build i kind of customized could you tell me any unnesesary things i did or things i shouldve added and did not? and your personal preference

Pretty much threw that list together rapidly. My phone's about to die but to reallocate about $100 you could step down to a R9 380 graphics card and a Hitachi 2TB drive..

Also prossibly ditching skylake for an older haswell chip.

And how would I put the parts together? Another reason I used the other website is because I'm pretty sure they put the parts together before sending them

Build one yourself, unless your set on getting a custom built one.

Personally id stick with C4C's build. Only thing id change is to get a larger case as the 200r is pretty compact. And if you can fit it in get a 120gb SSD for faster boot times.

Eh? I felt it was pretty roomy without being overbearing, should hold those components with some space to spare.

+1 for the SSD though. Also, you could probably swing a higher capacity drive for not a lot of additional cost.

When you say you need a CPU that is 3.5 or higher, I know you don't really know what you should look for in a processor.

was i wrong to think that?
Most definitely. My CPU runs at 4.7 and it'll still get it's but handed to it by this Skylake when gaming. Single-core performance pretty much trumps clock speed. (Intel's new M processors run under 1GHz and are still pretty powerful for the application)

Oh wowed I had no idea!!! So it doesn't really matter what processor speed it is?
