Run Windows 7.

Use WMP and K-Lite codec pack, sometimes VLC, to play music/movie files on an external USB drive, that would be networked to other computers in the house, if Win7 allows this?

Have both, HDMI and VGA output, and USB for external keyboard/mouse.

Watch HD videos online, with Firefox, and it needs to be capable of this, for like, 5 years, or something?

What all do you think about the linked item? Might it play HD videos for a few years? What do you suggest? Heck, should I just figure out how to double my budget and get this...? I wonder how loud it is. I hate loud computers.
