911! Please help before i format harddrive and reinstall! 0xa000021a error

I was on my computer and couldnt get any pics to download. From email, onto forums. Nothing.

So i restarted my hp laptop. Got an error

0xc000021a
It trys to repair itsself and it says the drive is locked and cant repai it. Nothing is working. Only thing i can do is reinstall windows. Luckily i have 2 harddrives installed in my pc

I would scan with a Bitdefender Rescue disk. Can be burned to CD or USB. You boot the disk.

Do you know if any windows updates were installed recently? I've seen where they have caused this to happen. You may be able to access advanced recovery and do a system restore back to a couple days before it happened. What operating system are you using?

Try booting into Recovery Mode and doing a System Restore, by pressing F8.

I had to wipe everything and reboot.

Whatever happened, wouldn't let me do anything

no recovery mode, no safe mode, would not boot up at all.
could not do a system restore. nothing.

Everything ended up with an error.

Even had to reformat the hard drive 3 times and reload windows every time just to get it working. Every time I rebooted windows on my hard drive it would not download and install windows updates at all. Just kept coming up with an error.

Now after getting everything back up, I cant get my 2nd harddrive that is installed in the computer to show up in disk management.

I formatted the harddrive and it will show up on an external enclosure not problem, but once installed in the laptop it doesnt show up at all. And it is on (spinning)

That doesn't make any sense. If after a single wipe you were still having problems then I'd start troubleshooting hardware.

The update issue was probably related to your clock/date settings as SSL and similar fail if the time indicates it is outside of the expiration of the session.

Well I got it the work the last time.

Im on my laptop right now and its been working for 3 days (thank god)
Idk what the issue was but it was a nightmare trying to get it to work.

Issue im having right now is now getting my 2nd HD to be detected on my computer.

My HP laptop can house to harddrives.
Right now the main drive that has the OS on it is a 120gb SSD drive.
My 2nd drive installed is going to be for my data and is a 750Gb drive.

Before my computer went crazy it was working just fine but since I fixed it over the weekend, my computer will not detect the 2nd harddrive.
It works fine in my external enclosure. Formatted it and everything.

went the laptop is turned on though, the 2nd harddrive is spinning up.

Any ideas why i cant get this 2nd harddrive to be detected?

I stand corrected. I randomly just checked it and somehow it is showing up now.
