What next?

I just got a GTX 750ti, and I want to know what to upgrade next. (Processor, RAM, etc.) You don't have to specify any specific piece of hardware, I just want to run games smoothly and make them look pretty.

Well. We kind of need to know your specs before we can make any sort of recommendations.

Well, for some reason my computer doesn't want to identify my hardware, so if you had to recommend anything for the $150 to $250 price range that'd be perfect. (I'm new to modifying hardware so this is kinda odd for me)

I would do the processor personally. For the budget you have, I would look at the intel i5 4690k. if you dont care about overclocking, you can save a few bucks on the i5 4690. I absolutely love mine. After you do your processor, I would look at an SSD as well.

Probably good suggestions however without knowledge of the motherboard and other components, recommendations are not useful yet.

How can you make this suggestion without knowing what he has? If he has an i7 already then that would be a downgrade, and if he has an AMD CPU it would mean replacing the motherboard as well.

Without knowing what kind of processor your motherboard can take, it's almost impossible to really recommend a processor. I can say that my AMd fx-6300 is probably the best bang for your buck, in fact on a website it was rated just that, the best processor you can get for the least amount of money. But if you don't have an fx processor currently, or especially if you have an intel one, than you can't use the fx-6300 without buying the right motherboard. All I can say is make sure you have at least 8GB of DDR3 RAM, or 8GB at least, of whatever RAM your motherboard supports.
