Whilist using touchpad, keyboard won't work.

"Hi,
Now, I already know how to fix this (I have a Synaptics touchpad). I go into the Synaptics settings, go to Smart Sense and put the slider all the way down, and I already did that but it still turns the touchpad off even after a restart. I also put the touchpad on "Always On" (In Windows 10 settings) yet I still receive the same result. I play certain games that require the mouse and touchpad at the same time and it's a pain when it doesn't work.

Any other fixes? Is there something in the registry I can change to get it to work or something?"

My touchpad partially moves when holding buttons on a keyboard, but it's very glitchy and won't work most of the time.

So which is it? lol
Sorry for the pretty late reply.

I said my touchpad works fine however when I'm using the keyboard the touchpad is very glitchy and sometimes refuses to work completely.

I play a game where you press "W" to walk forward and use your mouse/trackpad to move your head around. When I'm walking, I'd like to be able to move my head around, but I can't because it's acting glitchy or just not plain working.

Do you have the latest synaptics driver? If so, then I would still assume you have a bad touchpad or a glitch with 10.

I do have the latest touchpad driver. I used to have Windows 7 on this computer and it worked fine with no problems so it has to be a glitch with 10. Does anybody know a fix for it?

The only think you can try doing is do a clean install of 10. If that don't solve it then its just an issue with 10 itself. I'm going through an issue myself with 10. Getting all kinds of bluescreens since upgrading to 10. Did a clean install and still same issue. Not sure whats going on.

My computer first came with Windows 10 and it didn't work and using Windows 7 it did and now I'm back to Windows 10 and it doesn't work so I would rather not reinstall again.

Well, for some reason, uninstalling the keyboard driver made it work fine. Very odd fix but it works now.
