The motherboard I have is a ASRock Fatal1ty P67 Performance LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

What would be a Good gaming Video card. I currently have a NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX+ and I would like to upgrade it.

Any suggestions. I would like to spend no more than 300$ but I would like to go less expensive if possible.

Thanks in advance!

Also I was thinking about this video car. Would it be an upgrade?

Should you choose Nvidia, and you are looking for a cheaper card I'd suggest a GTX 750 ti. One perk about Nvidia is that it comes with a built in recorder to record your game-play at high speed. If you want amd maybe an R9 like a 260 or 270.

At a budget of $300 USD you could potentially squeak up to an R9 390 or a GTX 970, with the 390 usually being a tad cheaper. It's also ever so slightly faster, arguably.

Otherwise you're looking at an R9 380X if you can't swing for a 390 or 970. However the 390 and 970 are a good jump in performance up from the 380X, so I'd save for one of those if possible.

Will that MSI Radeon R9 390 DirectX 12 R9 390 GAMING 8G 8GB 512-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card fit in my motherboard?

From what I've read is these cards get HOT, I've owned that case and it doesn't have the greatest airflow, you might want to consider a case that has more intake fans to provide positive pressure? airflow.

OK so the GTX 970 is 4g but the MSI R9 390 is 8g. Should I wait on the 390 to come back available or is the GTX just as good of a card?

If you have waited this long, I'd hold off a bit longer and see what these new, next-gen cards are gonna bring to the table.. I think we are looking at a June-ish launch?!
