Building my first computer

Hello everybody! I'm here for advice on a new computer. I have really only had 2 desktops.

My first one was rebuilt computer back in 1999 it cost me 2000$ .
My second one was an old used computer i picked up for a cheap 200$.(which i'm currently using)

Now my third computer i finally saved up some cash to build my own. I have never built my own computer but i heard it's not so hard. This is what i have in mind so far.

Note: I mostly do a lot of multitasking and video editing. Sometimes i play steam & play emulator games, but having the best graphics is not important for me. This is why im keeping my current video card in my new build.

My Current Build:

Windows7 64bit
Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q8200
Ram: 8GB
Hard Drives: 500GB & 500GB

I was looking online and it said i could get a combo(the same above) except with an SSD drive.

So my questions are:

#1 Do i really need an SSD Drive? I was planning on using my current 2 hard drives, just transferring them over.

#2 If i do get an SSD drive, should i get 2?
I've always had 2 hard drives, that way i keep all my important things on the second hard drive and if i need to reformat my computer, i can easily do it without spending hours transfering things. Im worried that if i partition 1 drive, then i can't easily reformat it. This is why i've always had 2 hard drives,

#3 or.. Can i use the 1 SSD Drive as my main drive and the other 2 hard drives as my backups, to store things. Will it be complicated to setup?

#4 What other things do i need?
I already have a case from my soon to be old computer,
I already have power supply, it's an 800w
am i missing anything else?

#5 How do you guys like my setup?

any advice? thanks!

Do you want faster boot and application load times? If so, then yes you want one.

No, just use 1. A 250gb Samsung 850 Evo is what people usually get. Good fast drive.

SSD should have your OS and a few of your most used programs on it. HDD's should have other programs and personal data only. And no, its pretty easy to setup.
What other things do i need?

Nothing but maybe a 1TB Western Digital Blue 64mb cache drive since your 500gb drives are only 16mb cache and are somewhat old. Drives don't last forever.

I would change socket that you picked from 2011 to 1151.

You should buy a SSD as it is faster than the HDD. Also provide faster load time to applications. yes You can use other 2 hard drive and its very simple. You have every thing that a computer Need. Go ahead and buy a new custom PC.
