Because im a bad little child, my computer is always getting taken away. Since my parents will never get the computer away from me they started taking my hard drives and i got it back and it would not recognize the hard drive (like my bios didnt detect it) i little playing around with the cables and i got it to work and thats when i got this S.M.A.R.T. notice that says that the status is bad and tells me to backup and replace so i disabled the smart check through bios and i got to windows... kinda. it hangs at starting windows for a few minutes

And then it does starting windows with the animation glowing

And soon after the screen just turns off but the hard drive and fans is still spinning

Any suggestions? Also please dont comment on the fact that i am a delinquent xD

BTW Specs are:
CPU: Intel i5 @3.30GhZ Quad core
MOBO: AZUS p8z68-v lx
RAM: 8GB ddr3
Tell me if you need more

What specific SMART error?

Sounds like it wasn't handled correctly and was damaged.

Yep time to replace it. It was probably dropped.
Clearly i was too stupid to see the obvious... The hard drive is INDEED failing but i still have access to it... Quickly, what is a program that is free i can use to back it up... i have it plugged into another computer so i dont have to use the windows on that (If it would even work)
