Mixing ddr3L and ddr3

Hello,
i have accidently ordered 1X8GB of ddr3L and not DDR3, my laptop model is: Dell Insperion 15z 5523,
will it fit my laptop?
also would i be able to mix a ddr3L and ddr3 stick together? (the 8 i bought and the 4 i already have(DDR3)?

p.s: i saw that it should have backwards compability but the ddr3l voltage is 1.35V and the ddr3 is 1.5 (so is it safe to combine them together?)

Can you link us the exact ram you bought? Also exact ram you have currently.

Run CPU-Z and paste the SPD RAM table from the existing stick:

Its just low voltage memory. DDR3L is dual voltage and will work with a computer that came with DDR3.

p.s: currently i have 2 of the same ddr3 sticks, i would like to replace one for the 8 gb so i'll have 12gb in total, would it work with the mentioned ddr3L above?

Looks like one has a voltage of 1.35 and the other is 1.5 while timings are the same, which I didn't think that could happen.

I am indeed surprised at the timing table being identical. The DDR3L is just going to run at 1.5V in this case.
