All the sudden cant boot

I use a monitor switch between 2 pc's I went to switch to my windows 10 pc and it was suddenly on a welcome screen just hanging not responsive at all, I had to force a shutdown with thepower button I booted back up and couldnt get to the windows loading screen just a black screen with a blinking dash, I tried to put in a flash drive that has Windows 10 on it so I could try a repair and couldn't get that to load and now I just get a black screen no bios no nothing can't access the bios or boot menu.

I switched the cmos jumper, unplugged power cord, switched off power even took out the
cmos battery waited over ten minutes figuring a reset of the bios to default might help and nothing. Still same problem not sure what to do or try, this is all very sudden and I have had no issues with the pc up until this point.

Put the video card back in, make sure the power PCIe connectors are plugged in the video card. Unplug the computer and press the power button a few times to discharge the PSU and try booting again. I've had similar things happen and tried resetting the bios/unplugging it. But discharging the PSU did the trick.

I had the pc unplugged and power supply switched to off as well as having the cmos jumpers switched and the battery out all for 24 hours, would this be any different?

Its called discharging residual power. Just unplugging or taking the battery out or resetting the bios wont do it. Don't know if that's it, but its worth a try.

So unplug from power supply, should i flip the switch on the power supply to or leave that on? and then hit power on the motherboard or on the case?

I would unplug it from the wall. The case power button. Press and hold it for a few seconds, do it 3 or 4 times.

Just tried, same thing..Another new thing its doing is after i do things like that I try to power on it goes on for a sec then turns off then automatically turns back on to my problem of just a black screen

I remember that. Don't know, could be mother board related or starting to sound kinda like the PSU lost its 12V rail.

Are the fans powering up?

CPU fan and rear exhaust and top exhaust are running one fan on top seems to have gone but that might have been dead before I just didnt notice, power supply it's hard to tell its bottom mounted it doesnt feel or look like its running now that I look at it.

Are you getting any beeps, as in 1 beep for good to go? If its a newer PUS, sometimes the fan doesn't turn on until it has a load. Something going on if you cant even get into the bios. Try reseating the CPU power 4/8 pin and memory.
