My father's laptop (HP Pavillion g7) starts up just fine, but when choosing either "Start Windows Normally" or "Launch Startup Repair" the laptop appears to boot for a little bit, but then gets stuck on either the windows blue screen or a grey screen respectively. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I've had my SSD as a boot drive for about 8 months now, and has worked great. Don't be too hard on yourself, we all make mistakes. They key things are (someone else chime in if I miss anything) is RAM type, as in DDR2, DDR3, etc. Speed, 1066 mhz,1333 mhz, etc. Size, 204 pins, 240 pins, etc. Voltage, 1.35v, 1.5v, etc. Capacity, (A plethora of gigabyte options per stick)...

I suggest the Coolermaster HAF X, it has everything you are talking about except the fan controller, it worked great for me.

No problem, you can build a solid rig for under $1000, you might have to give up a few bells and whistles however. Care for me to build a rig for you?

I am fed up with my current chair, it is basically a stool with a small back portion, made more for fancy modern looks than comfort. I need a new chair. The trouble, however, is that my desk is pretty tall, and I like to sit rather high up. I cant seem to find a desk chair thats not too short...
