Note that those prices are from 3rd party sellers. If you sort by items from Newegg, GPUs will be out of stock, but the prices will be more "reasonable", in the $750-$900 range. If you are on top of things, you can pretty find one for that price in a matter of days.

Around the beginning of 2018 cards reached the 3-4 month payback range--whenever that happens, everything gets sold out. So many people I know are building mining computers--even my one coworker who never had built a computer before has 6 1080/1080 Tis now. I have 9 1070-1080 Tis at the moment...

That's what I said in 2011, and 2013, and 2014. Each time I ended up stopping mining. If I had kept with it I wouldn't need to work right now. A 1050 Ti should be able to make about $40-$50 a month on Nicehash--it's definitely not the best card for mining, but it's something!

Hello Gents, For some reason my desktop stopped being able to access any google site--every time I try to do a search, access gmail, google groups, you name it, it goes to "Webpage not available". I can access Google with my other devices on the network. I've done virus scans and malware...

If I end up with a job in Kentucky, electricity is super cheap--running a 600 watt 4P under load is a reasonable ~$35 a month for a few hundred thousand PPD.

Nice! With a 3570k at 4.5. you should be averaging somewhere in the 15-20k ppd.
