You say you have 8gb of ram. Is all 8 new or did you add 4 to your existing ram?

Well it's the hard drive. Like said back it up if you can. Then under search type cmd then Run as administrator then chkdsk and hit enter, see what it says. But I would see about replacing it.

I would back the drive up if you can. Have you tried a different SATA port if that's what it's hooked up to?

Yeah they are connected. If your on one account you can jump between both without logging in and out. Now someone can't see both accounts, just the one your on. But if you get blocked or banned on one, it bans or blocks both. Completely different accounts that doesn't happen.

Like said it doesn't matter now, if something was done it's done. Boot it up. When your working on one always touch the case before you do anything inside.

You can have completely different accounts that's not connected at all or have multiple accounts under the same account with just different usernames and passwords and just jump from one to the other. Like said above, plus I think all social media is a joke.

What motherboard do you have?

Gigabyte clams it's limit is 4gb.

Have you got a picture of the power supply? So your saying you need a ATX PSU with a -5V rail?

They seem cool if you like that kind of lighting, but cheap. From reviews some tend to come DOA and some unbalanced.

Pop one of the 8s and the 4gb. sticks out and put the other two 8gb sticks in dual channel, reset the bios and see if it will boot.

If it runs fine after it starts, I don't think heat is your problem. Being 6 years old timing could be a problem. Really anything overclocked for 6 years could be. Try going into the bios and set it to default. Now, if it has been overclocked that will reset everything.

Do you have both accounts under the same account or are they separate? Have you logged out and back in? Crap like that is usually just a hick up.
