Retail way overcharges for those things, newegg has a wide variety of 1gb ones for $11. Although depending on the model, some of them do cost quite a bit more and this may be a fine price.

Well what ram are you thinking about getting (like which specific kit) and which mobo are you getting or already have. For voltage issues it should just tone down the speeds a bit upon your initial boot at the lower voltage, then just go straight into the bios crank the vdimm up and it should...

g5 or an mx518 are your best options, I actually bought my g5 at bestbuy, twas on sale and just as cheap as on newegg. :D

Yes it should, my sticks are rated to run at 2.8V (ddr :( ), but my mobo only puts out 2.6 just dropped the speeds and loosened the timings a bit till I got the chance to change it.

Yes it works, I play my wii through a tv tuner. If you have the proper hook up then look for an input channel, I know mine has a special button on the control thing on the screen to switch inputs, if not go into the configuration and look for something.

Well since I did already mention that, you can buy CSS on its own which will save you some money if you don't want HL2, its cheapest to download CSS from steam and just pay online for it, I believe its like $20 in their online store.

Ya, exactly what he said, just remember if I am not mistaken CS 1.4 is pre steam counter strike so you are going to have to look for a download elsewhere to get the original 1.6 then its just a matter of installing. But ya if you want css you are going to have to purchase either HL2 of the css...

My games always seem to get a bit laggy around 30 fps, I know you can't see that many fps anyway, but it just doesn't play as smooth, so I went with 40.

No really though, if you are going to overclock you would be much better putting that $36 into a good heatsink or better ram or a better motherboard, you hit very similar speeds on the average overclock between the two, there is not extra cache on the e6400 so there is not advantage there.

Haha I was actually just talking to some people a little bit about that. Its because the wii came out, the ps3 had more hype but when it was all said and done everyone is letting their ps3's collect dust while they are playing zelda. :P
