    I am blown away!

    It did for me! I upgraded from a vanilla 6800 to the 7900 GS and got a huge increase as well. I went from 2855 with the 6 series card to 4544 with the 7900. I'm running a Pentium D 930, 3.0Ghz. I figured I'd get a decent boost but that's over 50%. I'll take it any day.:)

    Thanks for your help! Yeah, my gut tells me that it's the card too. I tried another driver version . . . (91.37) but I still have the same issue with hibernate and standby. Interestingly enough, "Quick Resume" seems to work fine. Any thoughts on whether or not the PS might be an issue...
