crucial balistics is amazing stuff, kingston is good too, and i think 2gb is plenty 8800 is the best card for the money, but pretty pricey .... 7950gt is a very good buy for the money in my book cpu and mobo look good mate :D

yes it can be used as an output, you have to bridge the connections and keep the computer running whenever you want that connection obviously.... theres more too it, but yes it can be done

looks like almost the exact same board when it comes to specs, i would say to go with the asus, but i have no reason for picking that other than i have had nothing but great times with asus :D

1 7900gs will use about 200 watts at peak, so if everything else in your computer uses less than 150 watts your fine :P i mean if you had a core 2 duo, and like 1 stick of memory and 1 hard drive... maybe, but its a fat chance...i would say 450 watt or more for that card just to be safe

if you upgrade to xp im pretty sure that you will loose all of your installed programs... although you will still have the ability to connect to a wireless network, provided that you have the driver for that card

socket 939 amd's are getting cheaper and cheaper by the second, you could pick up a decent amd 64 with about a gig of ram, that combined with an off brand mobo... slap an IDE hard drive in a tower that comes with a 400w PS or whatnot, and bam... under 500$ :) maybe 7300 or 7600 for graphics?

you would still notice a difference in seek time, boot time, and loading screens, considering that one drive is spinning at 10,000 RPM's and the other would be spinning at 7,200 RPM's

if you are gaming the 3800+ X2 is your worst bet for the money, go with a 3500+ AMD 64, or higher, but if your not gaming then i would recommend the X2, for the price...
