if the hard drive is bricked, you will have to give a professional a couple arms and legs to recover your valuable data. if the hard drive still works, you can do a number of things to recover your data.

hi all, im having issues cloning my laptop's hard drive. i'll start from the begining - i made an image of my original hard drive (a WD 120gb 5.4k rpm by using it as an external hdd and copying it to another computer with Drive Image XML. i then mounted that image (recovery partition and all)...
