I haven't really heard anything good about McAfee either. Norton is a lot better in my opinion, though I don't really care for that either, but if you need one of them, I'd go with Norton.
Antec 900 is a very cool (temperature) and sophisticated looking case. I'd suggest it if you don't mind a few struggles during building. Very sturdy case with great cooling overall.
Typically they rarely have any sort of failure, they run much quieter, and they have lower latency and quicker searching. It's basically a higher quality hard drive.
Well what do you use each of the computers for and which is used more often... If one of them you rarely use, there is no reason to add more RAM to it.
60 to 45 isn't that bad. Try to see what temps all your parts are running at and make sure they're not getting too hot. I wouldn't worry about it that much as long as it doesn't happen all the time and ruin gameplay.
I had a friend who built one and I started playing some games on his at his house every once and awhile then saved up some money and built it while he was over. I built one with another friend after that to show him how.
I could only OC mine to 2.67 GHz does anyone know why? My specs are in my sig. Everyone else is getting there's up to at least 3GHz... Why does mine not get that high? I'm using the Nvidia control panel to overclock. When I try to go a little higher, my comp just locks up.
You'll have to completely reformat your computer then since you can't log all the way in. Insert your install disc and then follow the directions for reformatting.
Make sure the cable you plug into your motherboard isn't upside down or plugged into the wrong slots. It's a very small cable and can go in the wrong way, so you have to make sure it's the right way.
Even using startup in msconfig, make sure you are careful with what you disable. Some of the programs or files are necessary to function your computer properly.
