Hmm interesting. I assumed since the fans and HDDs still boot up that the PSU was fine. Shows how much I know :confused: I think I may just take it in this weekend and pay $40 to be sure because I don't have a PSu tester or anything else necessary for that matter.

I turn it on, fans and HDD's boot up. Nothing on the screen and mouse/keyboard don't even light up.

I really enjoyed it. The story is pretty good and it is verrry long. I really lost interest in turn-based RPG's, but I was able to play through this one (first one in many years). I used to love this style of game, but now I just can't stand waiting for the battles to go through each turn...

I had that exact same card design. It's probably a Galaxy card, that's what mine was. Its a great card, they are just the only people I have ever not gotten my MIR back from :mad:.

In the BIOS you have to check whether you have AMD Quiet'n'Cool enabled/disabled. If enabled it will underclock your CPU when it's not under heavy usage and that will show up in CPU-Z, I believe.

Maybe your PSU is faulty. I have never had any funny smells when using my computer, built fairly recently.
