I had to chuckle when I read that. :)

    AM2, AM2+, and AM3

I kinda doubt they will. AMD had invested a lot of time and money in rebuilding the ATI brand to where it is now. Changing it's name now would not be in there best interest.

    USB issues

I have a Logitech G11 keyboard and a Logitech MX518 mouse plugged in. Other than that, I don't run any other device via USB on a permanent basis. I occasionally turn on my printer or plug in my iPhone or iPod. And yes, all devices are 2.0 compliant. However, it does seem the problem has cleared...

    USB issues

This happens with both hard drives and flash drives. I have a brand new 500 GB WD Passport here that I transferred 113 GB's to and it took two and half days with an avg transfer rate of 826 KBps! I am not aware of any indexing service that may be running.

    USB issues

I have loads of drive letters available. lol. It's not a problem of recognizing the devices. I rarely have more than one external storage device plugged in. What I understand is that everything was working fine. It has been slowly getting slower over time.

Specs: ASUS M3A78-T Phenom 9950 BE 4 GB Corsair XMS2 DDR2-800 Vista 32-bit Scenario: I share a lot of data with co-workers and as such us go through a variety of external HDD's and thumb drives. This has worked fine for me in the past, but lately external storage devices have been getting...

    g25racer come here!

not to mention older NFS and TD titles. ;) but none of them fall into the sim category. also, someone mentioned race driver grid. while it is a fun game and sets new standards for graphics in racing games for the pc, it is NOT a sim. and if it is so easy to make cars handle realistically...

    PC Racing Sim

I do. Logitech Momo Racing LFS FTW!!! GT Legends rocks also. :) One game no one has mentioned so far is the good old Grand Prix legends. It's old and the graphics are very much dated, but it is a great game non the less.

Nvidia's Next Next Gen of GFX card the G92, Ohh yeah it reaches 1TF too

as it stands the 2900 XTX is nearly identical to the 2900 XT. even the clock speeds are almost the same. i can only hope that they overhaul it before it hits the shelves, as it might otherwise just be a very expensive paper weight.

    System Builder Starting Up Help

why not go threw the manufacturers directly. for instance both nvidia and amd have a in house reseller/dealer program.

    Gigabyte vs Msi ?

between me and a friend we had four MSI mainboards crash, roll and burn. well, not literally. but they did fry themselves within 12 months or less. that's without being overclocked. while they did run, they were great boards that ran nice and stable with great performance. i have never...

    Nvidia or ATI

i have several benchmarks proving otherwise. a X1950 Pro is about 250  i am a loyal nvidia customer, but ATI isn't all bad or worse then nvidia as it is being made out to be by some here. it's a matter of personal preference. which manufacturer has the fastest card flip-flops back and...

    Nvidia or ATI

ok, let's be serious, if you think ati's cards are overpriced, nvidia's cards are overpriced as well. the comparable cards from each manufacturer have similar price tags and offer similar performance. in reference to the above, the X1650PRO is comparable in performance to a GeForce 7600GS.

    Nvidia or ATI

i have had several nvidia cards, all of which used the stock single slot fans and have yet to run into any such problems. i have run and overclocked gforce 2 mx 400, 6600gt. 7600gs and 7800gt in my system with no problems. *shrug*

lol... only in america. vista has just barely been released. what do they expect? also, ati has had it's share of driver problems. i don't see people sueing them.

    vista, which vista?

i too have been wondering how the 64 bit version(s) of vista handle 32 bit applications and games. as i recall xp64 had a quite a few problems in that regard. one would think it wouldn't be that hard to make the 64 bit versions of these operating systems backwards compatible to 32 bit...
